Was told to expect 35-45 minutes for my truck to arrive. I was instead left to wait 2 hours. This company a towing BROKER, not service, and is 4 miles away from me, they dispatched a company from Anaheim. So I had a longer wait, and the driver even told me that the cost ($375) was more because it was so far away. To be clear, aside from the fact the driver had to come from the other end of the county, he was great. Quick about everything. The issue is with 10-4 Towing. Never told me any price (looks like they've pivoted on this after being blasted in reviews here...) and because of the $55 cancellation charge, I was stuck with them because "surely it's just a few more minutes, 45 minutes is 55, right...?" Nope. None of the fact they're a broker, dispatching to a company wherever, etc. was disclosed by 10-4 Tow, just was told "pay this much to get your car off the truck, had you called a local company you wouldn't have paid as much". These guys are terrible. I also note this one doesn't have a presence on Yelp, but the rest of the 10-4 companies do, all of whom have a 1 star review. My guess is these guys pulled their listing off of Yelp based on bad reviews. Wish I had checked the

The truck driver himself was excellent and professional. He was friendly, handled the vehicle carefully, and did his job well. My concern is not with the driver, but with how the company handled the billing. I was quoted $195 for the service after providing both the pickup and drop-off locations, which I considered a fair price. They also asked for my credit card number in advance for a possible $45 cancellation fee, which I understood and found reasonable. During the call, I was told that both credit card and debit card payments would be accepted. However, after the service was completed, I was told the total would be $295 — without any clear explanation. When I called to ask about the difference, I was told those were “additional service fees.” I then asked to pay by credit card, and only at that point was I informed there would be an additional $35 or $45 charge for using a credit card. These extra charges were never clearly explained upfront. I have used other towing companies before and have never experienced this kind of pricing structure. Transparent pricing is important, especially in stressful situations like vehicle breakdowns. Again, the driver did a great job. My co

ordered a tow truck yesterday at 8:00 PM and was told the ETA would be about one hour. Instead, I waited over 2.5 hours, standing next to my car the entire time. During those 2.5 hours, the company stopped responding and then started lying. Three different agents — Cooper, Carlos, and another representative — gave false and contradictory information. They claimed that another tow truck driver had already arrived and that another towing company had taken my car. That was completely false. I was physically next to my vehicle the whole time, and no driver ever came. In the end, because of their lies and total lack of professionalism, I was forced to leave my car on the highway overnight. This situation could have been dangerous and is absolutely unacceptable. This is by far the worst towing company in the area. Zero accountability, zero honesty, and zero respect for customers’ time. Avoid this company at all costs.
